Where SWAY fits
Every immersive media project runs the same phases. What changes is how much of the scope you want to own.
WAYS TO SWAY
Advisory & Strategy
Who this is for. You’re writing an RFP, evaluating vendor bids, inheriting a media scope you didn’t design, or facing a technical problem your team hasn’t hit before. You can execute — you need judgment from someone who has already solved these problems in the field.
When SWAY enters. Anywhere. Earliest is best, because the expensive decisions get made at RFP stage — but we’re regularly brought in mid-production and post-opening.
What you get.
- Scope definition and feasibility review
- Budget realism — what the number actually buys
- Vendor evaluation and bid review
- Technical advisory: surfaces, projection, media servers, show control
- Risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Executive Producer or Producer role on your team
- Troubleshooting on projects already in motion
How we work. Under your name or ours, whichever serves the project. We can sit in your seat in vendor meetings or stay entirely behind the scenes. Engagements run from a two-week review to a full project term.
Embedded Production Leadership
Who this is for. You have a media scope that needs a department, and building one internally doesn’t make sense for a project with an end date. You need senior production leadership and a team that arrives already knowing how to work together.
When SWAY enters. At concept, once the scope is defined and it’s clear the work exceeds internal capacity.
What you get.
- A senior team assembled specifically for your project
- Media design, animation, motion graphics, sound design and mix, post-production
- Production management and scheduling
- Subcontractor sourcing and management
- Technical direction through integration
- On-site supervision through install and opening
How we work. We white-label without hesitation. A significant share of SWAY’s work is delivered under a client’s or producer’s name, and we treat that as normal rather than as a concession. We manage subcontractors under our contract, so you hold one relationship instead of nine. And we stay through opening — the team that designed it is the team on site when it turns on.
Turnkey Media Production
Who this is for. You have a big idea and a date. You want one partner who owns the entire media scope, and one person to call when you have a question about any part of it.
When SWAY enters. Design stage — early enough that we can engineer the scope to the budget rather than value-engineer it later.
What you get.
- Creative development, scripting and storyboarding
- Previsualization and projection studies
- 3D surface modeling and mapping
- Animation and media design
- Sound design, score, casting and VO
- Post-production, mastering and delivery
- On-site integration, install and commissioning
- Pre-show and queue media
How we work. One contract, one accountable lead, one schedule. We hold the subcontractor relationships, the delivery specs and the integration risk. You get written status weekly, and no change orders without your written approval.
Not sure which one you need?
Most clients aren’t, at first. Describe the project and we’ll tell you which engagement fits — including if the answer is that you don’t need us.
